I pretty much adore all things bright, chipper, and joyful! The problem is that I would define a lot of things as joyful, so my “Adores” list is practically endless. But here’s a tasteling (= taste + sampling) of the list: slurping strawberry kiwi smoothies, jogging through forest trails, eating sunshine, envisioning big dreams, walking into the world of a little child, camping by the beach, singing out loud till the dogs start howling, combining awesomo words to make even incrediluber ones, spontaneously moving to my inner music, and the list continues…
As much as I love Starbursts, what I love even more are my two “morning bursts”, that is, the two things that make me wake up in the morning bubbling with excitement just thinking about them. The first is people. I L.O.V.E. talking, interacting, chatting, laughing, relating, discussing, and every other “-ing” I can do with another human being. When conversing isn’t an option, I even enjoy “people watching”—whether at a grocery store, by a park, or in the car—and imagining an unaware passerby’s life story.
And that’s sorta related to my other “morning burst”: photography. I relish the challenge of thinking up creative ways to tell stories—to communicate a message through an image. My goal through photography is to not only relay a message or remember “I was here”, but to do it in an impactful way. A way of beauty, excellence, love and passion.
After telling you all of that, I still haven’t unveiled my main love. And that is the Lover of my Soul, Jesus Christ, who has redeemed me from my sins, promised me eternal life, and is continually molding me more into the likeness of Himself. Without Him, I would be nothing.
